My smoothline hardtop doesn’t fit my NB. It *should*, but the window moulding is wrong for the windows by just enough they don’t roll up. I’m perplexed, because NAs and NBs have identical windows and such. Oh, well. Guess it’ll let me raise my asking price for my NA. On the plus side, got my switchback LED running lights swapped over from the NA to the NB and it looks rather choice. LED on left, regular old orange halogen on right.

Can you not adjust the windows to better fit?

Has three cars that barely run. Buys 4th car so has something reliable. Immediately starts modding 4th car. #jaloplyfe

That’s the correct answer. Remove seals, there should be screws to adjust the seal mounts, reinstall seals, as far as I’m aware. (IIRC it works just like the soft tops.)

Putting a new light bulb in is a mod now!

Aftermarket hardtop. Doesn’t work like that.

Oh sure at first it’s a light bulb. Then it’s rims. Then you’re putting in a turbo before your warranty is up. Just rubbin man, looks great. I still want the NA but when I ran the prospect of flying one way to Kansas and driving 630 miles home past my wife she was not amused :(

There’s also some adjustments that can be done to the window with the door card removed, in that case...

Honestly I don’t think I could find wheels i like better than the stock ones. Also, they’re the tell-tale that it’s an SE, which I rather like.

Possibly. I need to take my door card off and lube up the driver’s window anyways. Might as well see if there’s anything that can be fiddled with. Thing is it seems like the glass is a different shape on the NB even though OEM hardtops for the NA and NB are identical, the glass in my NA fits the shape better. I dun git it.

Be aware that if you adjust it there, you’ll need to adjust the soft top’s seals for it to seal properly.

Yeah the SE rims look great. The whole thing looks great really. Just need to get a few extra $ by selling the hardtop with the NA to get one that does fit the NB and it’ll be pretty much perfect.

Look closely at the glass, is it OEM or was it replaced at some point?

If it isn’t you could try swapping the glass.
